Does PilotMonitoringAI support Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020?
PilotMonitoringAI has been fully tested with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. It has not been officially tested with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, so compatibility may vary.
How do I connect PilotMonitoringAI to Microsoft Flight Simulator?
Once you have subsribed to a plan, download and install PilotMonitoringAI desktop tray application, then launch MSFS. The tray app will launch and automatically connect to MSFS. Your PM will be waiting for you in the cockpit, no manual configuration needed.
How do I change or cancel my subscription?
Go to your Dashboard and scroll to the subscription section. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from there. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current billing period.
What happens when my monthly token allowance runs out?
AI-driven monitoring features pause until your next billing cycle starts. You'll receive an email when you hit 80% usage as a heads-up. Your allowance resets automatically at the start of each billing period.
How do I unbind my device?
Go to your Dashboard and find the Device section. You can unbind your current device there. You have up to 3 device changes on your account. If you need more, please sign in to contact support.
Do you store my flight data?
No. PilotMonitoringAI processes flight data in real-time for AI analysis but does not persistently store your flight telemetry, routes, or recordings. We only store usage metrics (token counts) for billing purposes.
Is PilotMonitoringAI really powered by AI?
Yes, PilotMonitoringAI uses fine-tuned artificial intelligence. PMAI analyzes simulator data in real time and provide monitoring and feedback to support the Pilot Flying (PF).
What's the difference between Standard and Mentor?
Standard gives you a disciplined PM: realistic SOP checklists, takeoff callouts, gear and flap commands, overhead panel switch control, and aircraft state verification. Mentor includes everything in Standard plus AI-powered training intelligence: procedure explanations, "what if" scenarios, cockpit guidance, and system walkthroughs. Why is PilotMonitoringAI a subscription instead of a one-time purchase?
PilotMonitoringAI is powered by advanced fine-tuned AI models that process situational awareness and interactions in real time. These models require dedicated cloud infrastructure to deliver timely responses. Running them on your machine is not yet feasible, as MSFS alone demands most of your GPU power and memory. Your subscription covers the ongoing AI compute behind every checklist, callout, and answer, every time you fly.
My payment failed - what happens now?
You'll receive an email notification and your subscription enters a short grace period. Update your PayPal billing details to avoid service interruption. If the payment issue isn't resolved, your subscription will be suspended.
Does PilotMonitoringAI come with PM avatar or liveries?
